A formulation only counts when it works on your floor, not in our lab. That is why we run the trial with your operators, watch the line, and adjust until the bond holds at your speed.

We are your ISO-certified expert partners in end-to-end hot melts, offering near-unlimited glue options with superior quality for the right price. In our decades of market experience across a range of industries, we have developed over 250 products with unique chemistries to address their needs in the most optimal manner.

120 of those grades are published here with full technical data, alongside the 11 applicator models we build in-house. If the grade you need is not listed, our R&D team formulates to order. As an industrial hot melt adhesive manufacturer and supplier, we make hot melt glue as chips, pellets, blocks and glue sticks — and the hot melt glue machines that apply it.

Manufacturing

Three plants: Same product quality

Production began in 1991 at Surajpur. Two further units followed at Sitarganj in the Eldeco Sidcul Industrial Park. Together they run 3,000 MT of annual capacity across chips, pellets, granules, blocks and sticks.

  • All units certified to ISO 9001:2015
  • Sitarganj units also ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018
  • Full QC laboratory at every unit — every batch tested before dispatch
  • Pilot plant for polyamide chemistry
  • In-house applicator manufacture and spares for every model

Hot melt basics

Hot melt adhesive — common questions

Hot melt adhesive, also called hot melt glue, is a 100% solid thermoplastic adhesive. It is melted in a hot melt glue machine or glue gun, applied as a liquid, and bonds as it cools — within seconds, with no water or solvent to dry off. It is supplied as chips, pellets, blocks or glue sticks, on base polymers such as EVA, polyolefin, metallocene, synthetic rubber and polyamide.
Hot melt sets in seconds as it cools, so lines run faster with no drying time, and it bonds coated and difficult surfaces that water-based cold glue struggles with. Cold glue costs less per kilogram and suits slow, porous paper-to-paper work, but needs time to dry. On most packaging lines, hot melt works out cheaper per carton.
Most carton sealing and case packing lines use an EVA or metallocene hot melt. EVA grades are economical and versatile; metallocene grades run cleaner at lower temperature, with less char and stringing. The right grade depends on the board coating, line speed, open time and storage temperature — send us these and we will recommend one, with a free trial sample of up to 1 kg.
Standard hot melts are usually applied at about 150°C to 180°C, and low-temperature grades at about 120°C to 150°C for heat-sensitive substrates. Open time is how long the adhesive stays tacky after it is applied: fast lines need a short open time, manual work a longer one. Softening point indicates heat resistance — choose a higher one if the bonded part will see heat. Every grade on this site lists its softening point and viscosity.
Set the tank, hose and gun to the temperature on the adhesive datasheet, top up the tank little and often, and use standby instead of holding glue at full heat during long stops. Nozzles usually block from char — adhesive degraded by overheating or long dwell in the tank — or from dust getting into an open tank. The correct temperature, a clean filter and a closed lid prevent most blockages, and we hold spares for every applicator we build.
Keep it in the original sealed bags, in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and moisture, and use older stock first. Stored this way, twelve months is achievable; check the batch date and the datasheet for the exact grade. Read more in our article on extending the shelf life of hot melt adhesives.
